Grandma took a look and sure enough, she confirmed it, it looked just like Mommy did. Apparently it runs in the family, Grandpa Slick was tounge tied as well. So not only did we get his hair but we got his tounge as well. I wonder if he is going to get Grandpa's fiesty personality as well! So, we went to a ENT specialist and sure enough he was tounge tied. They took us into another procedure room and I had to hold him with a towel wrapped around him, a nurse held his head and the doc took a couple snips at the tissue holding his tounge down and it was done! He stopped crying as soon as I was able to pick him up.

As you can see, we have tried to incorporate everything Scott and I have grown up with. We have the farm animals everywhere. Scott is very proud to have his train put on the shelf ready for him to take down and start running for him. There will not be much this boy will be without!
We are also very lucky to have great friends here in Texas. Thank you to Brad, Kylene and Todd, they threw us a Baby Shower for all of our John Deere friends here in Dallas. I think everyone enjoyed themselves, and we defintely loved having everyone at our house and they were able to meet my parents! They feel much better about having a grandchild amongst such great friends!
Well that was our January, and man did it go fast! We have just over 2 months to go till this little guy shows up to stay tuned for more! Love to all!!
